Join us as we gather for our second Bible Institute. This year we have brought together speakers from around the country to speak on themes and threads found in the book of Exodus.
What is the Bible Institute?
This year’s theme is “From Bondage to Liberty”. Eight teaching sessions will cover the main themes such as:
- Overview and Threads in Exodus
- Approaches to Teaching Exodus
- The Historicity of Exodus
- Thread 1: The God who redeems His people
- Thread 2: The God who judges sin
- Thread 3: The God who gives life
- Thread 4 – The God who makes Himself known
- Thread 5 – The God who dwells with man
Who is the Institute for?
The Institute is aimed at anyone who loves to study the Bible. You may be in full-time ministry or just someone who wants to understand more of the Bible and the great message of God’s love found in it.
When will the Institute take place?
Our Institute runs over three days – Friday 31 August (evening), Saturday 1 September (all day) and Sunday 3 September (morning)
Rob was born and raised in Seattle, USA. He has been serving Jesus Christ since 1974. He is a musician, author and pastor. He currently serves as the pastor of Calvary Chapel in Twickenham. Rob teaches seminars on studying and teaching the Bible, biblical meditation and has written several books.

Tommy is currently undertaking Ph.D. research in a field related to Jewish-Christian studies and is an associate tutor in Theology at King’s Evangelical Divinity School and associate speaker with Creation Ministries International.

Kris grew up in Southern California and became a follower of Jesus in his early twenties. With a passion for both missions and teaching the Bible, he moved to the UK where he taught at Calvary Chapel Bible College, York and later served at Calvary Chapel Cardiff. He is currently living in Northern Ireland with his wife Claire and their son James, and is in his final year at Union Theological College, Belfast.

The main sessions on Friday and Saturday will take place at Freemantle Evangelical Church, Nelson Road, Southampton. The Sunday morning session will be part of our normal Sunday morning church service at will take place at our normal venue: Great Oaks School, Vermont Close, Southampton
