University Students at Calvary

If you’re a student in Southampton, we’d love to meet you. We love Jesus and are thankful that through his death for us, we can know God personally and love his people. At Calvary, we’d love to see you graduate not only with a degree, but as someone who knows God more deeply than when you first came. University is an exciting new adventure, but it can also be tough, so we’d love to live through the joys and struggles with you.

We love students to become part of our Church family, so why not come visit us on a Sunday morning. We meet at 10.30am at Great Oaks School, Vermont Close, Southampton, SO16 7LT.

We are a 10 minute walk from Glen Eyre Halls and the U6 bus route also goes nearby.

We are participating in Southampton University Christian Union’s ‘Church Search’, so look out for us at the interchange at 10.10am for the first 6 weeks of term.

Our students are involved in all sorts at Church: helping with PA, leading in children’s church, leading worship and serving tea and coffee. We’d love you to get involved with as much or as little as you’d like to.

On Sunday evenings, we run Rooted for students and young adults. This is a chance to enjoy food and laughter together, before chatting through what God has been speaking to us about and praying for each other. It’s a great chance to get to know other Christians and to encourage each other to live for God, so come along.

To find out more about any of this, or maybe just to grab a coffee when you’re first in Southampton (we promise we’ll buy it), please contact us

Looking forward to seeing you soon
