At Calvary we believe that God has not only saved us from sin (Ephesians 2:1-11) but He has also saved us from solitude (Ephesians 2:12-22). We’re not designed to be alone, we’ve been saved into the family of God. We believe that life is best lived in relationship with one another, and our small groups are where we do life together. We refer to these small groups as Life Groups. They’re a lot of fun and God works in our lives as we study the Bible together and build Jesus-centered relationships.
Life Groups typically consist of 8-12 people and are scheduled in 3 week blocks. The fourth week is when all of our groups come together with the rest of the church for an all church prayer meeting. The first Life Group meetings start in the second week of May.
This year we’ll be looking at how we as Christians live in an ever changing and often godless society. We’ll be looking at a time in Israel’s history when Israel lived in a pluralistic society, much like we do today. The book of Judges and the lives of Daniel and Joseph serve to show us how to stand strong as we are surrounded by the gods of wealth, celebrity, pleasure, ideology and achievement.

Once the group leader accepts your request you’ll be able to view others in the group, get bible study resources and find out when the next group meeting is.
