STUDENTS WELCOME TO SOUTHAMPTON , WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU!

University is an exciting new adventure, but it can also be tough, so we’d love to live through the joys and struggles with you. At Calvary our goal is to help and support you to know God more deeply. Our prayer is that you’ll know Him and be living for Him better than when you first came to Southampton. We’d be honoured to be part of that journey! Sundays at Calvary Southampton take place (10:30AM) at Great Oaks School, Vermont Close, Southampton, S016 7LT. We're just 5 minutes away from Glen Eyre Halls!

MEET OUR SOUTHAMPTON STUDENT PASTORS

Hey Students! Ash and I (Steve) would like to extend a warm welcome to you. Great choice by the way! We are so excited for what God has in store for you during your time here and we want to partner with you in your journey and help you grow in your love for Jesus as you look to serve Him in your life!

We encourage our students to be fully part of our spiritual family and to bless and be blessed by the variety of experience and spiritual maturity that is here.

What's 'the Table'?

In addition to our main Sunday morning meetings, we have a dinner & Bible study every other Tuesday called 'the Table' and socials every month to hang out and grow together in the love of Christ. Some of our Southampton students take the opportunity to serve in the church – helping with the music, the children’s church or serving coffee – you are welcome to get stuck in or just come and sit! We would also be more than happy to provide lifts. Our hope is that you feel at home and part of our family.

LAST FEW BITS...

There is no dress code here at Calvary. Whilst some of our congregation wear shirts and ties, most wear casual clothes such as jeans and t-shirts. We're just happy that you're here! We hope the service and music speaks to your heart and helps you on your spiritual journey.

Also, both the University of Southampton and Solent University have Christian Unions that you can join. Again, this is a great opportunity to make the most of your time and we’d encourage you to seek out Freshers activities and get stuck in. Both groups have a church search page on their website (Southampton / Solent ) so you can look at all of the church groups they work with.

To find out more about any of this, or maybe just to grab a coffee when you’re first in Southampton (we promise we’ll buy it), please contact us or check us out on Instagram
