Our Leaders
At Calvary Chapel, our leaders are here to serve, guide and care for God’s people. Our leadership team is made up of both elders and deacons who work together in unity to shepherd the church family and support the ministry God has entrusted to us.
The elders are responsible for teaching, prayer, and spiritual oversight. They seek to lead by example, encouraging the church to grow in faith, love, and devotion to Jesus. With a heart for God’s Word and a desire to nurture discipleship, they provide guidance and pastoral care, always pointing people toward Christ.
Our deacons serve by meeting practical needs within the church community. They are hands-on, ensuring that ministries run smoothly and that people are cared for in practical and tangible ways. Whether it’s supporting Sunday services, helping behind the scenes, or reaching out to those in need, the deacons embody servant-hearted leadership that reflects the love of Jesus.
Together, elders and deacons form a team that values prayer, collaboration, and encouragement. We’re a friendly bunch who love to spend time with people, listen well, and share life’s journey. Our desire is to build a welcoming and Christ-centered community where everyone feels at home and is encouraged to grow in their relationship with the Lord.
At the heart of our leadership is a commitment to glorify God, care for His people, and faithfully serve Southampton and beyond. We’re grateful for the opportunity to lead not as rulers, but as servants, following the example of Jesus, who came “not to be served, but to serve.”
